On the planet Vulcan, Lt. Nyota Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) is walking in front of a fountain to greet the Enterprise crew who are disembarking from the Klingon Bird-of-Prey spacecraft.
While the background was created by visual effects (probably a matte painting), the fountain element was filmed at the front entrance to Occidental College, 1600 Campus Road at Alumni Avenue, Eagle Rock, City of Los Angeles, CA. |
